The 18×18 Puppywarmer incubator is our most popular size—about half of the Puppywarmer Incubators ordered. Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Standard Poodle, German Shepherd, French Bulldog, Schnauzer, Beagle, Collie and other medium to large breed dog breeders choose the 18×18” Puppywarmer incubators. The 18×18 Puppywarmer incubator features:
- Proportional controller that pulses electricity to the heater for precise temperature control for 80°-100°F in one degree increments.
- Fast acting type J thermocouple for accurate temperature sensing
- Glass enclosure to create the thermal gradient puppies need that is also easy to clean and disinfect
- Closed cell mat that has “give and grip” and is easy to clean and disinfect
- Stainless steel top with special construction ceramic infrared heater that warms puppies 1” into their body
- Proper venting to create air exchange and help drive out CO2
- All in an intuitive, easy to use system.
We recommend the standard oxygen concentrator with the 18×18” incubator. The starting recommended oxygen flow rate of the 18×18” Puppywarmer incubator is 1.3 liters per minute well within the capabilities of the Standard Concentrator. Those in high altitude locations or that have experienced puppies with aspirated pneumonia might consider the Pro Series Oxygen Concentrator.

I am a veterinary technician in a canine reproductive practice. We do anywhere from 2 to 7 cesarean sections a week. I personally work with the neonate care. My puppies do fantastic in this incubator. Distressed puppies, gasping puppies, premature or underdeveloped puppies. They all do fantastic. I can monitor them without removing them and the breeders feel like they are more a part of things. This is by far my absolute favorite piece of equipment our practice owns !! I love my Puppywarmer ❤

We purchased this warmer and oxygen unit in preparation for our first Frenchie litter and I’m so glad that we did. Two of the four pups born had cleft palate‘s and were very small. I truly believe that their survival chances tremendously increased by having this warmer unit because initially we were told by our Vet that their chance of survival was very slim. I am happy to announce that they are now almost 3 months old and steadily growing to catch up to their normal size brothers. I purchased the Puppy warmer and oxygen concentrator to replace my outdated and “homemade” equipment. Once I had the equipment out of the delivery box and ready to set up, Ken was on the phone with me setting up all the different piece parts and it was operating in less than 30 minutes. Ken’s very intimate knowledge of his product and over the top customer service is second to none! While I had some limited success with the old, the puppy warmer has paid for itself in saving puppies with my first time use. The subsequent uses have been just as rewarding and most important more “worry free” than before! The results are fantastic! I run a rescue group for small breed moms and orphaned babies. We have 6 Puppywarmers 2 12x 12 and 3 18×18 and our starter 8×8 in our group. We also do a lot of special needs babies with clefts hydro babies and many other birth defects. I am a strong believer because we had a Puppywarmer and Oxygen Concentrator we were able to save a litter of four premature tiny only 1 oz chi babies. They were so premature they had no hair looked like rats lol . Thanks to Puppywarmer they are all alive and well today! We have saved hundreds more that would have not made before we had Puppywarmers. The consistent oxygen makes a world of difference in these babies and their outcome. We have been doing this and special needs for years. But with Puppywarmer and the consistent oxygen, we are able to save babies we never could have before! I’m a little different than the norm… We’ve yet to use the Puppywarmer for a puppy, yet we use it weekly.
I’m a CVT in a small animal practice. We do a LOT of pediatric kitten alters and the incubator is priceless. We also use it for our exotic patients regularly.
My plan is to get even more units for the local animal control to help with kittens in need!

I have not had to use mine yet but have watched my sister use hers for three litters now. The puppies are always so content in there, it gives them the perfect environment temperature and oxygen flow necessary for pups to thrive! I am looking forward to having my pups in there. Having had a gasping puppy in the past, I can only wish that I had this setup sooner to aid the pup in its recovery. The Puppywarmer incubator is by far the most superior incubator I have used.
I rescue special needs neonate puppies and kittens. They are usually singletons and keeping them warm and cozy is often difficult. But with the Puppywarmer, I can be at ease knowing they are happy! Now combine this with the even more awesome oxygen concentrator and the peace of mind is worth having the whole set up!
Beyond the product is the customer service. Ken will go way above expectations to answer questions, emergency ship product and talk about set up over the phone. There is also a Facebook group that has very loyal customers that will help you out if some how Ken is not available.
